Sharon’s passion is solving financial problems. She pulls from her 36 years of industry experience to find thoughtful, creative, and effective ways to help clients find their TruNorth.
Working from her Sacramento office, she works with clients on the West Coast and across the country providing wealth planning and investment advice to individuals, families, corporations, and private foundation boards. She understands the unique complexities that exist with substantial wealth accumulation.
Sharon focuses on being available to her clients whenever they need her. Whether they’re seeking help in making a swift decision based on market activity or wanting to simply chat about potential long-term plans, Sharon is ready to help.
She believes staying relevant in her field brings value to her clients. A life-long learner, Sharon shares her knowledge as an expert speaker to large and small groups. She is also an effective presenter to donors and potential donors for foundations and nonprofit organizations.
Before joining TruNorth, Sharon served for 16 years at a regional independent Registered Investment Advisor as a client advisor for large foundations and individuals through the financially rocky years of the late 1990s and first decade of the 2000s. She also worked as an Operations and Trading Manager for a small private broker/dealer in Seattle before becoming an Operations Manager in the U.S. Bank Trust Department in Sacramento.
A voracious reader, Sharon’s favorite authors are Madeleine L’Engle, J.R.R. Tolkien, and C.S. Lewis. She also loves gourmet cooking, theater (including directing plays), history, spectator sports like football, hockey, and baseball, and traveling to historic destinations such as Scotland and Ireland.
